Marlig Fix-A-leak has been through field tested under a variety of weather conditions and has proven effective in sealing leaks.
Fix-A-Leak is also an excellent preventative maintenance aid, as it coats all surfaces that it comes in contact with, it reduces down on formation of rust and corrosion.
It is important to by-pass filter media before adding fix-a-leak. Many pools have multi port valves, that allow water to circulate without passing thru the filter (Re-circulate), Check your filter manual to be sure. cartridges should be removed prior to adding fix-a-leak. DE filters should either by-pass the filter or remove the grids.
